Our Use of Cookies

To make this site work properly, we sometimes place small data files called cookies on your device. Most websites do this.

What are cookies?

A cookie is a small text file that a website saves on your computer or mobile device when you visit their site. It enables the website to remember your actions and preferences (such as language, font size and other display preferences) over a period of time, so you don’t have to keep re-entering them whenever you come back to the site or browse from one page to another.

How do we use cookies?

We only use cookies where they are required to simplify your access and interaction with our website. These are the cookies we use:

Records various choices you make while using our website:
  • Records whether you have accepted our use of cookies and switches off the "This web site relies on cookies" banner displayed on each page until you do accept (click on 'Got It!') our use of cookies (this is a legal requirement).
  • Records whether you want to bypass the home page and in which country you wish to search for houses.
This cookie records only changes you make via the settings button e.g. language, theme (day or night) and font size
We use a session cookie to co-ordinate actions across multiple pages e.g. only should you click the "contact owner" button. The session cookie allows us to identify your earlier input data that is held on our server.

How to control cookies

You can control and/or delete cookies as you wish – for details, see "". You can delete all cookies that are already on your computer and you can set most browsers to prevent them from being placed. If you do this, however, you may have to manually adjust some preferences every time you visit a site and some services e.g. "contact owner" will not work.
